Bio

I am a psychiatric social worker in the Santa Rosa Department of Child and Family Psychiatry. I joined Kaiser in 2001. Prior to joining Kaiser, I worked at Care Children's Counseling Service and for Sonoma County Mental Health. Currently I am a case manager for the Kaiser Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and the Kaiser Adolescent Eating Disorders Program. I work primarily with depressed and suicidal adolescents and their families. I co-lead the parent support group for parents of adolescents in the IOP program every Tuesday and Thursday night from 5:30 until 7pm. I also consult with non-Kaiser hospitals and families when their child has been psychiatrically hospitalized.

In my clinical practice at the Kaiser outpatient clinic I enjoy also working with younger children and their families. I am a certified EMDR psychotherapist and a trained PCIT psychotherapist. I provide a range of psychological services including individual therapy, family therapy, play therapy including sand tray therapy and parent consultations.
