Bio
I have been a nurse since 1972. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Sonoma State University and received a Master of Science degree as a Geriatric Adult Nurse Practitioner at University of California San Francisco.
Since 1985 I have been devoted to the field of geriatrics working with patients in their homes, medical clinics and skilled nursing facilities. I’ve have been amazed by the degree of strength and dignity that many people demonstrate as they age. I enjoy helping elder patients attain their best possible health and quality of life.
In 2003, I was very excited to join the Santa Rosa Kaiser skilled nursing facility team. We have an exceptional team of nurses and physicians.
Interests: Canning and preserving fruits (especially Gravenstein apples which make the best applesauce in the whole world), hiking, backpacking, gardening and playing my flute with a local senior band.
