Bio

I received my MSW from the University of Minnesota in 1983, BCD (Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work) in 1993 and I was licensed to practice psychotherapy in California in 1987. My work began at Kaiser's Department of Psychiatry Chemical Dependency Services in 1996, where I continue to see patients. I became the Chief Social Worker for the Department of Psychiatry in 2000.

As a psychotherapist I have a strong interest in Jungian psychology. In the past twenty five years I have specialized in the areas of substance abuse/addiction and child sexual/abuse.

I am a Board member of the California Society of Clinical Social Work (California's organization which represents clinical social workers and LCSW's). As a Board member I enjoy the opportunity to contribute to the professional development of clinical social workers. As a clinician and a member of the management team of the Department of Psychiatry I look forward to helping patients receive quality services.
