Bio

It is my job to learn about you. This bio-sketch will allow you to get to better know me. I was born and raised in Sacramento CA. I went to college at UCLA where I received a BS in biology. I attended UCSD School of Medicine where I earned a MD. I did internal medicine training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver becoming Board Certified in 1996. My Allergy training was at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. I was Board Certified in Allergy and Immunology in 2001. While at Johns Hopkins, I became interested in clinical research. As a result, I attended the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and Hygiene where I received a MSc.

I have worked as an internist but have spent most of my professional life as an allergist. I was in private practice for several years before joining Kaiser Permanente in 2005. Currently, I see patient's part time in the allergy clinic and conduct clinical research part time. I am also a part time stay at home dad. Kaiser Permanente is an ideal setting for me to practice allergy. It also affords opportunities to conduct research. I enjoy my job very much.
