Bio
I was born in Mexico City and moved to Santa Fe at age 10. I attended high school in Southern California and spent many many years sampling all the local universities.
I tried my hand at Marine Biology at Berkeley but after 3 years decided to hang up my wet suit and go to medical school. I initially completed a residency in Family Practice at Swedish Hospital in Seattle, WA.
I then spent almost 2 years in private practice in Cloverdale with John Mihalik. This was tough. I decided to retrain as an anesthesiologist and dragged my family down to Stanford for 3 years. I spent the last year practicing anesthesia at Sutter Hospital in Santa Rosa and then moved over to Kaiser before Sutter's proposed closure. |
