Bio
I received my Physical Therapy degree from Northwestern University in 1979. Being a California native, I returned to Northern California after graduation. My husband is also a Physical Therapist. We moved to Santa Rosa in 1983 and this is where we have raised our two daughters.
I joined Kaiser in 2003 after many years in the community working in outpatient physical therapy settings. I love the team approach at Kaiser and so appreciate the sharing of ideas and talents to provide the best possible patient care.
I have a very "hands on" approach to physical therapy. I believe in treating the body as a whole; understanding the structural imbalance that perpetuates a dysfunction.
Though the thirty minutes spent in Physical Therapy are important, the 23 hours and 30 minutes that are spent outside the clinic are even more important. I try to educate my patients so that they have a good understanding of their problem and how they can best care for themselves as they go about their daily lives.
I love my work and I look forward to working with you.
