2009 Half Marathon and 5K Fun RunWhen: Sunday, February 1, 2009 8AM Join us in the spirit of competition and community camaraderie. Register today for the Kaiser Permanente/San Francisco Half Marathon and 5K Fun Run presented by Pamakid Runners. You may register online with a credit card through January 29, 2009. You may also register by mail until January 23, 2009. No race day registration will be available. Exercise your total health. Start bright and early on race day with a pre-event warm-up led by Kaiser Permanente physical therapists and finish the event at our health and fitness tents featuring free foot checks and free flexibility and Body Mass Index screenings. Hands & Heart of the HolidaysWhen: Accepting gifts through December 18, 2008 The Hands & Heart of the Holidays (formerly The Giving Tree) program is a heartwarming annual event in Sonoma County that provides holiday gifts to over 17,000 underprivileged children, vulnerable adults, and lonely seniors. Since 1989, the program, with the support of local businesses and volunteers, has helped to brighten the holiday season for thousands of individuals and families in need. Members and employees can pick an ornament off the tree in the Medical Office Building, West Lobby, fill the requested wish, and return the wrapped gift to a volunteer desk until December 18th.
