Why I Chose Nursing

My mother and sister urged me to be a nurse. It was like an arranged marriage - I didn't like it at first, but fell in love with it when I really got to know it.

An Interesting Part of My Job

I love the way nursing has changed to reflect the changing aspects of care and attitudes toward health. I love that nurses have found their individuality and that Nursing is now a respected profession.

Biography

I come from a family eight kids. When I was young I was shy, and I loved sci-fi books and Star Trek. I took secretarial courses in high school and changed to nursing at the suggestion of my mother and sister.
