Patricia Moran, MSN, FNP

Bio

I was born in New York City, raised in Southern California, and have been happily living in Sonoma County for twenty three years.

I received my BS Degree in Nursing from Sonoma State University and MS Degree in Nursing from UCSF in 1984.

I began working at Kaiser as a Nurse Practitioner in 1985, starting in Family Medicine, and have spent the most recent years in Occupational Medicine. I have also taught NPs at Sonoma State University, as well as many patient education classes.

I'm fortunate to work with many well qualified physicians, physical therapists, nurses, psychologists, occupational health techs, and administrative staff.

I enjoy spending time with my family, kayaking and hiking, as well as leaning to quilt and paint.

Family & Friends

People in my life:

Time with friends and family sustains me. Weekly walks and hikes with a group of friends is time spent enjoying each other's company, sharing our lives, as well as getting some exercise. Quilting is something I share with a group of women and is both a creative outlet and an important connection with these long time friends.

Travel

An adventure I've had:

I've been fortunate to travel to some beautiful places. Its always nice to explore new locations and view one's home from another perspective.

Favorite place in the world:

The Cliffs of Moher are along the western coast of Ireland. Thousands of birds nest in the cracks along these cliffs. One is able to view their habitat simply by sitting in the beautiful green grass and looking over the edges of the cliff.
